My Revered Possession
The Bible, the most important message in history
The good news that many have longed to hear
God's living word that is no mystery
It has affected more lives than Shakespeare
More valuable than all diamond rings
That Christ came and died for our sins through love
Taking back the keys of life and death making us kings
Showing us how to be conquerors like Him above
Being an example for us to follow
To tell us the truth about life itself
So that our hearts can fill the hole that feels so hallow
It was a gift of grace with love from Himself
The greatest gift I could ever ask for
The Bible, the truth, which is what I most adore.
