My Ricky

I thought I lost you, I thought you were gone. I was upset, and oh so alone. I searched high, I searched low. You were nowhere to be found, not even a word. Until one day I came across your profile, I felt butterflies so I snooped for a while. You hadn't changed, just our lives were rearranged. You moved on, and so had I...or though I thought. I couldn't breathe, were my eyes being deceived. You wrote me a message, my heart was relieved. I knew I still loved you, my heart was never more true. I could've ignored it, but I couldn't help but picture us sitting at my moms about half lit. Your beautiful eyes smiling from your cheeks, your hair so long I wanted to scream. You were so handsome sitting on that couch, I knew right then I had to reply. Now 3 years later you're by my side, I love you more than the moon in the sky. I cherish every moment I get in your arms, and break a little when I'm away for more than an hour. You are my only true love, you are my soul wrapped in a single wave. Forever my love, I'm here to stay.
