My rock

My rock Everything was perfect just for us four But when my father walked out the door Felt as if we fell down to being poor. But my mom taught me never to ask for more. 17 years of life and she’s been my rock. She made sure my brother didn’t grow up to be no jock And made sure I was able to run a flock. But we still fought against the clock as it continued to go tick tock. My mother is the one person I can’t be without Because when we needed something she was out and about. Kept food on the table and a roof over our heads And at night she made sure we were able to sleep in two beds. If there’s one individual I need, it’s my mom and why? Because when things got rough, she always seen a bluer sky. She never gave up and just said “Bye” Because she knew the struggle would eventually die.
