My Roommate

My roommate I love,

When she cries I want to give her a hug

She helps me when I see a bug

By grabbing a big ass jug

She is as tiny as a pug,

But feisty like a thug,

Oh Jess that I love

I hope this awful poem doesn't make you run.

This poem really expresses the fondness that you have for your roommate, and especially all the great times you share together. Great rhyme scheme too! My favorite lines are definitely "She is as tiny as a pug / But feisty like a thug" because of the juxtaposition- you really can't judge someone at face value! Have you ever written a cinquain poem? Check out how to and more in the Resources section of the site. Keep writing!
