My Salvation

Water running thru the city, As I awake I see no sign of light, Darkness around me as I escape the early morning light, My mind racing, heart beating not one soul in site. I call your name but not a sound nor a reply, As I reach deep down and wonder why? Am I the lost soul of the night? All humanity is gone and I have no one by my side. To run or to hide, am I losing my mind? No keep going for all is in the still of the night, Seeking answers I go with a family photo album I have to continue and to hold. For all I need is love and these photos will be the love inside of me. My family is my salvation towards this journey may it be long or incomplete, To a place in which i belong will for ever more be so sweet. There love is what completes me , this is all i need. To keep me warm inside for i can dream, another day as we hold each other once more. Tis just the beginning for we will reunite and be whole once more. Until this day under the depths of the darkest abyss I shall strive, for my family is that light that will get me thru the night. My salvation, my life will further more burn bright.
