My Satisfaction

My life is in shambles.

Now I know how the cookie crumbles.

Never have I ever been in so much trouble.

But now so burst is my bubble.

My worst fear led to my jubilation,

When I look in the mirror, I love my reflection.

Yes I thought it was the wrong decision,

But it was the best, seeing now that I am with my satisfaction.

You are my satisfaction.

I thought loving her was my dedication.

But with you, for her I ran short of devotion,

And if I am wrong, I need no correction.

I was with her but I was still thirsty.

With me she was always hasty,

My thirst she declined to quench

Leaving me alone for long in a dark trench

When I saw you, something in me clicked.

A life I never knew I had in me ticked,

With a smile, I left her knowing,

That you would always be my satisfaction
