My Savior.

It's dark in here.

Its dark in this hell I've created.

It's dark in this well of emptiness that I've been drowning in for years.

Where is the light?

Where is the rope ladder that can pull me out?

Its hidden.

I've hidden it from myself.

Will I be able to find the light in this darkness?

The one thing that can pull me out of my misery?

Only one thing can.

No... not a thing... a person.

The one person who has never left my side.

The one person who gave me life when on the verge of death.

The one person who will never give up on me.

The one person who will never hurt me.

She's walked a difficult path.

She's struggled with her past.

And she struggles to get out of bed.

She struggles to keep going when all hope is lost.

But still...

She smiles and says "I'm fine" when there are tears in her eyes.

She makes sure the smile on my face is real.

She makes sure I'm okay even when she's not.

She gives advice and love when it's needed.

She pushes me.

She makes me better.

She makes me see the good in everyone.

She's molded me into the person I am now.

She is my light in the darkness.

She is my rope ladder.

She is the best person I've ever met.

She is my savior.

She is my mentor.

She is my best friend.

She is my mother.
