My Scarlet Letter

They don't  know inside, when they see my face

They don't know inside is where I hide the pain

Outside, a facade of sunshine but inside it rains

For ugly is my name

If we are all made in God's likeness

Then he made mistakes with me

No matter what filter I use or how i adjust the brightness

The picture is still of an ugly quality

A picture says a thousand words yet mine only needs one

And no matter how I try to mask it

The result is always the same

The letter "U" is my scarlet letter

For ugly is my name
