My scars
I got marks
I can't even rember where they start
They had a begining
When I was slimming
But one showed up one day
It hurt because I became sad
I didn't want to play
"Baby girl look at me"
"baby girl you need to eat"
"Baby girl speak, Please"
She said "I was fat"
Not fat as in PHAT
No the FAT that we used to call big women
Women you knocked down
Not taken seriously
Around, around, and around
Not good enough to please
Not good enough to love
GOD SO HELP ME
I'm pretty
I'm worthy
I'm chunky but I got beauty
My scars are from the words
The skin that people torn
I got scars ladies and gentalmen
But they're not just any scars
They're the scares you said behind my back
The words you lack
