This is my secret....

This is my secret

I have not told.

This is my secret

I don't wish to hold.

This is my secret,

it will ruin my rep.

This is my secret

and my very first step.

This is my secret

I'm willing to share.

This is my secret,

let me take you there.

This is my secret

but please understand...

this is my secret

from a terrible land.

This is my secret

I tell seeking love.

This is my secret

that I am rising above.

This is my secret,

the war I am raging-

this is my secret

that I am uncaging.

This is my secret

I wish to escape;

this is my secret

that I must reshape.

This is my secret

I've surrendered to.

This is my secret

I trust telling you.

This is my secret

that claims so much power.

This is my secret

that tastes rather sour.

This is my secret

I tell to find peace;

this is my secret

I tell to find release.

This is my secret

I share out of hope-

this is my secret

tainted by dope.

This is my secret

of a hidden conflict.

This is my secret,

I am an addict.

This is my secret

that once was smug.

This is my secret

of a dance with the drug.

This is my secret,

I'm hooked on meth-

this is my secret,

but I'm trying my best.

This is my secret

I made on my own;

this is my secret,

I can't win alone.

This is my secret

I have uncovered.

And this is my self

I have recovered.
