My Senior

Light flows from the window Cascading on each curve Adding an expression To the expressionless His eyes dilate As clouds float pass And then they contract When the clouds leave Bright caramel orbs Open and close Blacken and Lighten Never unlocking Gentle, soft lips Stay open just enough For sunlight to blanket The pink abyss of the flower Hair lightly tousled From waking three hours ago It remains in place As he consciously sleeps He remains entranced The center of my life Humble to the burning orb The center of the universe
