My Shadow

It was a very beautiful day,

How the cold wind hits my face and the sun so bright.

Oh I wish it would last , then I see a shadow. A shadow on my left.

“Who are you?”  I asked innocently

“I am you.” said the shadow in a rough voice.

“No, you can’t be, I can not be as dark figured as you.”

“But it is the truth, my friend.”

My eyes widen as it tried to swallow me.

I ran away from it, felt as though I have ran for hours or days.

Then the dark figure caught up with me,

however no longer on my left but the center from which I stood.

It’s a lot  darker than before.

Then it smiled, for I was cornered like a mouse cornered by the felion.

“ I do not want to become such a veil creature as you!” I cried

It didn’t respond but lifted its arms up as if it seeks a hug from me.

The next thing I knew,

It has taken me into its arms and consumed me.

I have become what I am now. The dark shadow.
