My Sheets Will Remain
My sheets know all my secrets, that are deep inside my wounds. They wrap around my weakened body, when I return to my home.
A soft and gentle touch, but an ever so firm foundation, a place where my soul begins to seep out the negative situations.
Absorbing every tear and muffling the sound of pain, but like always, my sheets will remain.
Holding me through all my lows and the darkness I brought home,
whispering,
sweet nothingness until I don’t feel so alone.
