In My Shoes
In my shoes you don't know what it is like.
In a constant struggle between wrong and right.
In my shoes there is always a mess.
In school learning new things, hoping for success.
Trying not so hard to think things through
But when you're older this is what you must do.
Making decisions from left to right
In the dark looking for light.
Not making enough money at home
So that's when I apply for scholarships or take out a loan
Praying and hoping is the only thing to do
If I win this money I could help pay for school
So if you had it like me, and were in my shoes
Tell me of all the things that you would do.
