MY Shooting Star

In the endless sky above, I found you passing by, High above a starry night you gave to me the same interested stare I gave to you and when it all went dark and it seemed as all life's existing darkness yearned to quench you, you somehow stayed blossoming beautifully with your luminous speck of light. And although the distance seemed impossible, a connection to the heart was all it needed to compromise our existence and love. Time is relative but irrelevant as distance is only significant to measurement but trivial and weak to the comparison of an infinite measurement such as love. So from high above to down below you gracefully paralyzed me with your magnificent view, gorgeously dripping light onto me and as I watched you and felt you, the endless love endured streamed tears off my eyes. Tranquility was at its best and love was right beside me as you were too. And just like that it was said to be, for every star is a dream caught between fantasy and reality; for every shooting star is a falling dream being made into a reality and within a star you fell onto me and became, My Shooting Star.

Sorry, I took so long to get back to you I had lost my password lol. Anyways, I apperciate your comment and curiosity about this poem and the comment i made was just simply about how i got inspired to write an analogy based upon a "Starry Night." Its very similar to how somebody or something can make you feel, its those breezy nights as ou stare blankly ahead on those stars that makes such an impact, it deliberately ponders the mind and awakens the soul, Its times like those that often quietly speak to you in a whole different view.

This poem reminds me of how everyone always says your loved ones will look down at you as a star when they pass away. It made tears prick my eyes. I'm confused however if your comment is suppose to be part of the poem?

Becca.

The tears blur my vision as i gazed up upon the immensely beautifully star that somehow peacefully calmed the night.
