For My Sister
You fight the hardest against all your critics. Your reward is the smallest though contribution the biggest.
You try to go with the flow, but then you get thrown under the bus.
You try to fight for control, but then the arguing never stops.
There’s too much debating and not enough listening. You end up talking to yourself through the thin walls.
You say the team would fall apart without you, but they would never admit it. Then you question yourself more and more every minute.
You are the driver stuck behind the yellow light the second before it turns red, yearning to break away and go full speed ahead.
You are the seams that hold the team together when all you want to do is fall apart. You are underappreciated. You are an underdog.
But most importantly, you have the voice, the determination, and the passion to prove them all wrong.
