For my sister
“Open your eyes look within. Are you satisfied with the life you’re living? -Bob Marley
She reflects and has no shame to let the world know as she cries to the open
worry about your-
self. I try to tell her, but she sits and covers her lonely eyes
look at the free birds, look at them. LOOK!
if they are taken care of, so are you. By a power beyond, one you feel within
remember? when you said “God I give you my life” in the altar? So why are..
you- so e m p t y? can’t you understand how desperate He yearns for you
for your soul, what will it take for you to be satisfied
i ask her. you need to be someone you’re content with
i remind her, be like the-
she cuts me off, ‘what is life?!’
it’s not about finding the meaning of life! you’re-
again. ‘i dont like the life im living...’
