My sisters

Why didn't I count?
The years
The birthdays
The time spent reading stories
Why didn't I see?
The changes in faces
In moods
In tastes
In... Me
Why didn't I know?
That we would grow up
Why didn't I try harder to make time stop and never ever let go??

Not so long ago I met you all
I held you
Helped feed, bathe and dress you
I fell in love with each of you.

The fights the hugs the slaps the exchange of fears.
I would not be the woman I am today with out you all.

I would just be   And that would be no good at all.

If I didn't have you, my sisters. I would have been a miss from the very start.
I love you.
