My sisters

My sisters;

though they often act like twisters,

twirling all around,

they always magange to return me to my solid ground.

Through all the pain and suffering, that our lives have cost,

when they're standing by my side I've never felt less lost.

where they are, I'll always be,

in heart, in mind,  my family.

My sisters are my confidants,

the ones with whom I'll tell;

every secret that my heart has held.

They are my inspiration,

the ones who share my dreams,

the ones who know my hopes and fears, and all the in-betweens.

My sisters,

though changing like the river, in the early spring,

they are my heart, my everything.

As steady as the river, in a rapid zone,

they, are where I will always find my home.
