My Sister's Ghost

Dear Sister,

In the corner of my eye

I see little white lies,

Though they're disguised

I don't mind.

I let them by.

And the rooms in this house

are filled with histories we don't like to talk about.

So I've closed the door

And I don't let them out

When are they gonna figure it out?

Come running in,

writing ghost stories about this house.

And the ghost in this house

Has got you figured out,

Knows to turn the lights out,

Your ghost in our house.

I've closed the door,

but you've let them out.

- caught by the ghost in this house
