My Sister's Poem

My mind is blank,

My thoughts won't grow.

I'm a bit tired,

But I thought you should know

The way I feel when I'm with you.

But how do I feel?

I have no clue.

I think it has something to do with the word "love".

But to be truthful,

Words are never enough.

I've tried to make myself die,

And many times I've lied.

I've had traumatic thoughts,

I've cried and fought.

Somehow it doesn't mean a thing,

Someday I'll be glad to wear your ring.

How could I prove that it's true,

That when I'm with you I don't feel quite as blue?

So take me away from here,

But promise to keep me near.

 Love,

             Anna

Well, my parents are divorced, my mom is in a wheelchair, my stepdad works day shift, and I cook a lot. I love to draw, write, and listen to music, but mostly country.
