In My Skin

I feel lost...

trapped in some forsaken being

hopelessly searching for the lost soul

who once occupied its warm space

but comfort is long lost and forgotten

too downtrodden to be revived

and too far removed to be destroyed

employed to watch but never partake

in the beautiful flavors and colorful tastes

of the wind and and the world.

Where am I...? Who am I...?
