My Socks

I wore ruffle socks everyday

They were always inside out

My mom was filled with dismay

I said they'll stay inside out.

Now I wear regular socks

They are no longer laced with ruffles

I wear them on all of my walks

But I still cause a bit of a scuffle.

My socks are still inside out

My mom is filled with dismay

I said they'll stay inside out

Until the end of my days.
