My soldier

My soldier, oh soldier

My soldier hath fallen, my soldier hath slane

My soldier did lay, as i weep in behalf

My soldier was strong, my soldier was tall

My soldier new the way, he lead them there

My soldier was mistaken, my soldier was wronged

My soldier now sleeps, never by my side again

My soldier was gone, my soldier was me.
