My Son
My world, my child, my son
The one thing I cannot live without
My joy, my hope, my dreams
You provide me with them all
You are small with big smiles
You have dirty hands and a clean heart
You have innocent eyes
Yet you possess so much knowledge
You jump in puddles
You talk back
You throw fits
You dig in the dirt
You love with all you have
You hug with all your heart
You smile with all your teeth
You laugh with all your breath
You hate bedtime
You pout
You ask "why?" too many times
You push my buttons
You pray with both your hands
You protect with all your might
You give with everything you have
You achieve all you try
You are my world
You are my child
You are my son
You are my joy
You are my hope
You are my dreams
You,
I cannot live without
