My song Psalm 139

Psalm 139

Where can I run from Your Spirit?

When I go up to heaven You’re there

Where can I hide from your presence?

When down in the grave You’ll be there.

Should I ride the wings of the morning;

Dwell in uttermost parts of the sea

Lord through the storm You will guide me

Your glory abounds everywhere

Your glory abounds everywhere I can see

Praise to Thee, I am fearfully wonderfully made

Marvellous are Thy works

and that my soul knows well

You’ve made me so skilfully complex

In the dark of the womb so conceived

You've formed me in utmost seclusion

Your spirit so awesomely breathed

Your eyes are always upon me

You’ve hedged me behind and before

And be there a word yet unspoken

Every thought in my mind You perceive

Every thought in my mind even ‘fore it so be

Praise to Thee, I am fearfully wonderfully made

Marvellous are Thy works

And that my soul knows well

How precious are Your thoughts to me Oh God

If I should count them they’d be more in number than the sand

How precious are Your thoughts to me.
