My Soul

Grasping into thin air, We will attempt to reach but cannot touch. Things we wish and hope would go away, Things that hurt entirely too much. Why do we face such horrid times? When others go unscathed. Where is it that we must find shelter, When it rains on our joyful parade? Life does give us roses. Eventually, every petal falls. Leaving tears and sadness. And parts of the vivid memories we recall. So if time's our greatest treasure. And love is the only thing we need. Let's give everyone all we have. Nothing else in life is guaranteed.
