My Soul to Keep

My soul to keep.

Attached not to my heart,

But to my ears.

My soul rings down.

Down to my heart.

It flows out of my toes,

And out, out into the dark.

My soul to keep,

You are so dear.

Lost at sea with the darkness within me,

My soul illuminates.

Creating a path to freedom and luxury.

My soul to keep.

As precious as Frodo's ring,

It makes me sing.

For without it, I am not alone.

It brings me a home.

My soul to keep.

For you I need.

Sing me to sleep.

On this lonely island.

My soul to keep.

You bring me relief.

My soul to keep,

My music I seek.
