I prefer my grace, my ease,
my elegant flow-
a flow that comes from samba,
contemporary,
latin,
Yes I use the paso doble,
Yes I use the tango,
they are passion
they are me!
I use the chachacha,
I use the mambo
I use the samba
They are flirty,
they are me!
I am not street dance,
I am not club dance
I am not boogie dance
Those are not me
They are not my soul,
My soul yearns to show you me,
so let me dance,
let me be mambo, samba, chachacha,
let me waltz, rumba, ballet,
let me do contemporary, latin, jive,
even paso doble and tango.
when you let me be these styles,
You will see
not just dance,
not just random moves
and as you say "flaying arms"
you will see those things,
but you will also see
