My Sound Daughter
Dear daughter,
Growing up a as a woman won't be a walk in the park,
There will be difficulties, mistakes, and heartbreak.
Although these may seem detrimental,
Don’t doubt your strength
You were born with the persistence of all the women before you.
Women who've faced discrimination and abuse,
Who’ve fought the boundaries of society.
All these women believe in you.
My sweet daughter don't doubt your strength,
For you are persistent, fierce, and passionate.
There is nothing that is too far from your reach.
Don't let the difficulties of the world doubt yourself.
Every challenge you endure will make you a woman better than before.
Sincerely,
Someone who believes in you.
