My Spark

Alone is a funny feeling.

There is no telling why

Or how

Or even when the feeling came about.

It just does.

I am not alone you see.

Something in me keeps me warm.

Keeps me safe.

Keeps me alive.

Courage.

Strength

Fire.

I refuse to lose my ‘spark of madness’.

It keeps me company.

I feed it

With Courage,

Strength

Fire.

It speaks to me when I want to give up.

You can’t.

You won’t.

You’ll never.

For this reason, I am not alone.

I am not weak.

I am not compromised.

I need you, spark, and everything you do for me.

Because without you, I am nothing.
