My special person

I sit here today and

Write this work as it is.

Work.

But, as I

Think back on us growing up

Together.  I remember

Such cheerful memories.

A fondness grows in my heart.

Right from the start,

I was so nervous about you

That we ended up crying together and I thought that you

Would dislike me, that I would not be as special to you

As you were, and remain, to me.

However, as you began to shift and form and grow

Those thoughts seemed so farfetched.

As a young child, we began to

Grow closer.  Spending

So much

Time together.  I felt like we could not be

Separated.

But, there came a time where we had lost our

Connection.

And began to grow further apart.

It has a been a secret in my

Heart that I regret that time we spent so

Far from each other.

To these thoughts I shed a tear.

But now, as I have started a new chapter in life

And you, your own.

I have noticed that the closeness that we

Once shared

Has returned, but now on an even

Deeper level.

We share so many Thoughts, Feelings, and Obsessions

And I feel like I could tell you Anything, which I do.

And I appreciate it so.

I ask of you continue smiling your crooked, dimpled

Smile.

Because you will always be,

My special little brother.
