To my specific morning,

Dear Morning,

I hate you.

Not for the fact that you are you.

Not for the fact that you are so eternally beautiful.

Not for the fact you burn so brightly.

Not for the fact that you have an effect on me.

I hate you

because of your actions,

because of your harsh words,

because of your facade,

and lastly,

because of your constant assumptions

It hurts me to hate you this much.

I hate you to the point...

that it tears me apart.

TO SHREDS!

Because I care about you.

I don't want to see you lose yourself.

Nor do I want us to fall apart.

But....

We are always on the verge of breaking apart.

I say something.

You say something.

I get mad.

You get mad.

Then, I apologize.

Even if you're wrong.

Even if I still don't understand your reasoning.

Because I want us to never fall apart.

However, I know my limits.

I'm not a super glue.

I'm a human

and

humans always leave.

They never stay.

Nor will you.

You'll be gone...eventually.

I'm going to be here

for a long, long time.

Because I'm the one who always gets stuck in time.

It's great to be you.

But I'd really hate to be you.

                                                                                                Sincerely,

                                                                                                      M.R.
