My Star in the Mirror (I Am but a Lone Prophet)

I see your reflection in the water; In the water, you're right there, next to the moon; But a star on earth, you are; Your eyes twinkling in the twilight; Shimmering off of this free-flowing mirror; A hand upon your chest can hear your heartbeat; It is but another reflection; It mimics the rippling waves endlessly undulating o'er the horizon; The waves crash on a rock, the mist is your breath. Look at your mirror. Do you see what we see? We as in the people of this earth see you every night; Look up to you and harp at the beauty; So we shed a tear when you don't see it; In hopes that that tear should find its way to your mirror, giving you clearer perception; All it is is perception; They say "As it is in the heavens, so shall it be on earth"; so I have faith in the world when I look at you. I am but a lone prophet, looking toward your light to lead the way; Every crash of a wave lets me know that you breathe, and my message is not in vein; A prophetic premonition leads a man to believe. A star in an ocean's mirror cannot nearly see how bright it shines. A prophet, foot deep in water, screams to the heavens, trying to bring his message to the star.
