My stars

Some people leave this earth sooner than others
Some of them were the roses we held dear to our soul
Sometimes it's unfair to the one who got stolen by the sky
And sometimes it's unfair to those that they left behind
We can't help but remember them when we see dust
Or when we hear that song that we played together on the radio
Or when we eat their favorite meal
Or when we smell something that mocks the scent of them
And
We remember their soft touches
Even after every tangible thing of theirs has longly faded away
When we see shooting stars at night
We can't help but make the wish of them
And all of these things we still hold on to
Even though they're the ones who already let go...
