My Story

As a child I loved few things.

Animals, zoos, and playing.

I always thought I knew what I’d be.

A veterinarian, that was the future for me.

I grew and I grew and I continued to read.

I found something that made me feel freed.

An escape from this, what we call reality.

To places unreal, untouched, unseen.

I found joy in these worlds that never existed.

And found myself while venturing their mystics.

I discovered in me a world of my own.

A secret place to the world never shown.

I took to the pen and wrote down my words.

My passion ignited like knights with their swords.

I found my talent, my future in fiction.

There can be be no contradiction.

I was meant to write stories for others to see.

I was meant to be an author, no one else could I be.

So now I’ve grown, no longer blinded.

By thoughts that have lead me, misguided.

I write from now on until my grave.

My road is for once, finally paved.

At peace I feel, for now I know.

My life is good, perfectly sewn.

I’m finished now with this story you see.

There are more to be written, more to be free.
