My struggle
Fighting
Struggling
Battling through a massive war my entire life
Hoping to have found peace long before today
I stand here exhausted
Expended
Used up beyond what I can refill
When will freedom be mine
I'm suffocating
Will I ever get the chance to stop struggling
To breathe
To let down the walls that I have built up so high
So thick I'm not even sure who I am with out them
I'm expected to be strong
I'm know for being a fighter
So who am I when I can fight back no longer
Am I really who they think I am
How can anyone know who I am when I haven't been given the choice of life
When every decision I make is not really mine
But a thought planted in my mind
What I can do
When I can do it
How I am to pursue it
Does Anybody care about what thoughts are truly mine
About where I see myself in time
I'm trying to find MY voice
MY thoughts
MY beliefs
But my reward is heart break and strife
For being such a fighter
Sometimes I feel hopeless
