My Stupid Craving

My bleeding heart is now a river,

My remorseful soul has begun to quiver,

My aching dreams are now only a shiver,

My chained memories are now forgetting,

the days I've spent with you,

this foolish longing for something that I shall not be getting.

I enjoy writing poems. It gives me a sense of peace and provides me with a mean to express myself in ways that I could have never imagined myself doing.
