My Suffocating Flame
And he saw
The light in my eyes,
He saw I was trying,
I was holding on tight.
Once I felt freedom,
Now I feel too much.
I strive to be back there,
Though my time is not as such.
I am trying so hard, but now I realize,
It’s ok to be stuck in a pit,
You just have to try
And climb out of the ditch.
