My summer of rain

Feeling the soft blades of grass swaying with the wind surrounding me, looking into the dim gray sky, waiting for those sweet but sorrowful drops to fall from the sky and hide the ones rolling down my face, you can smell the rain in the air, you could see the light gray clouds slowly move across the sky, just to feel those drops would bring joy to this sorrowful state i'm in, I remember..... Once on a day like this, in this exact spot, I was held by a strong pair of arms, held in a loving embrace, I remember the day well, the wind blowing through my hair, the smell of his cologne, the way my white cotton dress moved with the wind, the way the rain drops touched my bare skin, oh what I would do to be in those loving arms again.
