My Sun We Set With You

My sun will set with you, Falling behind the rolling wave of blue Out of eight million it was you, so amazing, so true As I sit and watch you sleep, so beautiful, so meek This journey has been long and hard, But I'm ready to give way To the curtain of dark you'll fall prey To let you go, Give up your fight with Chemo The end is near, Death has come to take it’s prize To seek my life, and close your eyes Forever I shall wait for thee, Until we meet in eternity We'll cry, We'll smile, when I meet you there, I'll run my hand through your hair, That once upon a time wasn’t there And only when your hands turn blue, My sun will set with you
