My Sunset

Why does the sun set red.
Why does it speak my heart.
The sun has so many thing that it could prescribe to us.
Do we listen or destroy that beautiful sun of mine.
The one that gives me light to my ever darkening days.
We see death before our eyes, our shadows following in close pursuit.
Will it ever give an end to the pain that it has made.
The light I see has so many colors, the hues I've never seen.
But red is the one that speaks to my heart and rages through my sunset.
Each sunset of mine is a different color, forever changing at whim.
The feelings of the world forever painting the colors of my sky
Now I wish that my sunset would die and finally give me peace.
Break way to the night so I can finally have my sleep.
