My sunshine

sometimes,

I wonder what the sunlight is made of;

what makes it so warm and inviting.

I can look at it fill a room,

and feel whole.

the way it moves across a window,

and dances in water;

I envy its grace.

the heat makes me feel alive,

and its absents hurts.

even when the rain comes,

and I feel the water drops run down my face,

I wonder where I'll get my warmth then.

I can sing him back,

make him feel wanted.

Oh-Mr.Sunshine,

my only shunshine,

you make me happy-

when skies are grey.

you never know dear,

how much I love you,

please don't take,

my sunshine away.

sometimes even the memory of the sun,

can still keep me a little warm.
