~ My Sweet Steph~

        ~ My Sweet Steph~

Sitting home in my cozy chair

I hear a special knock at my door

I turn to look and see your sweet

face peeking there.

Hugs with great emotion

tears to fill my eyes

such a pleasant visit

a simply sweet surprise.

Always an act of kindness
like a flowery fragrant mist,

or an aromatic dab or two
always California's best.

I’ll hold dear in my memory

the time you spent with me.

Soon one day I’ll see you
