African-Americans, veterans that originated from the struggle
To be considered as good Samaritans
Recognize the repercussion for being admired
For our respected character and advanced civilizations
Caucasians, to be told the truth, began to kidnap the youth
Which is the heart of any future, we are living proof
Stealing our people, raping women, thoughts of blasphemy
In 1885, they changed Africa boundaries
Imagine royalty at its finest with loyalty
Then suddenly robbed, transforming into insecurities
Foreshadowing numerous acts of hatred toward other communities
Sometimes I think, will there be another person
Willing to have the courage to fight with peace?
Put aside artillery, society is changing the youth once again
I see that majority of my generation despise sobriety
Will we be free as people and not slaves?
Will there be another M-L-K
Malcolm X? Or someone passionate in their hearts to
Follow their commands, maybe a Rosa Parks
Sitting in the seat assigned for us only
They say there’s always an exception to any rule
At least Ruby Bridges attended that school
We invented so much, but little credit is given
Even in the history books, this was planned
By the white man, when teaching students about history
Tell them about the Kings of Europe, but not mention the Queens of Africa?
We will continue to fight for change, ever since they sunk our ship things have always been the same… Resist what tries to trick you, commit your life to finding the true meaning of these hidden clues many refuse to understand, if you do, you will have the upperhand, .. only if the whole globe could understand....man..
