To My Teachers

You drone on and on
But it never seems to dawn
We write page after page
Even though the effort is sage
Our grades define us
But you throw us under the bus
You make stupid rules
That are very simply cruel
You say you want the best
So forever you test
But step back into our shoes
And take look at what you’re making us lose
