My teacher's name is Poetry

My day begins at 6:00 am whether I like it or not.

I need to brush my teeth, eat breakfast, change, and catch the bus.

An hour of commute just to get to school.

Sure, I've leanred a lot from sitting at a desk listening to lectures

all about math, science, history, and getting facts from textbooks.

Still my favorite part of the day is when I get to hold my pencil.

I look around for inspiration, observing and from my surroundings...

learning.

My teacher's name is poetry.

Now I can head home on the bus, smiling.
