My Theory
My Theory,
Before I leave this valley,
I neither want last ride together,
As did Robert Browning,
Nor I like desperate drowning,
As preferred Percy Bysshe Shelley,
Before I leave this valley,
Before my love is fading
I wouldn’t like serenading,
As do a Nightingale, to woo its love,
So it is also done by a dove,
It wouldn’t be an “Ode to Nightingale”
I would not let my love turned pale.
I shall break all bonds and walls,
I shall see how each of it falls,
Though I am not an emperor,
I do confess I am not a conqueror,
I have no money to build a Taj,
I can’t lead my love to raj,
But don’t loose heart,
My sweet Love, my sweet Mumtaz,
I shall win my love,
And make it shine all stars above,
Till my heart beats, I shall strive,
May it be a tide or a tsunami,
It can’t take me away, from my drive,
I shall chisel the rocks to carve my love,
I shall take it above and above,
I shall carve it on each of the rock,
It shall last earthquakes shock,
I shall also scribe it on glittering sand,
But before I could raise it
Lest wayward wind erase it,
Or it is washed away by a wave,
I shall scribe it on the land,
I wish my strive may it save,
I shall call upon ye, 'My Love' so loudly,
My love will ever hear its echo proudly,
When I shall leave the valley,
I would be felt everywhere,
I shall be found here and there,
The rocks will witness of my love,
The glittering sand will also verify,
I shall perish, but my love glorify,
The cool breeze murmuring my love story,
Immortal spirit of a mortal, is my theory.
