My Thoughts

You are the worst

I hate you with every bone

But I yet love you the most

I curse you every night

You make me feel lost,

Screw up every chance

I had one wish

Allowed me to be comfortable

Forcing complacency and false happiness

These trapped me, my wish became intangible

You turn me into a mess

Yet I can not fight back

For I have done nothing

Yet exist in the dark

I cannot make you suffer as I do

I cannot defend myself from your clutches

Because you are not real

I know how this deal can work

Without you I shall collapse

Without you I shall relapse

Without you I shall fade into the night

I love you and I shall fight back

Yet I hate you the most

You live within me yet lack

To see I will use the light

To hold myself up and take

What I seek to be dear to me

You may mess with the plan

But I will triumph with glee

Once I stand up as the man

I shall become

You’re only my mind

And I promise to overcome
