My time to shine

This is the time of our lives that everything changes inside. Left is now right, day becomes night I feel it inside that I am not alright. Save me now, save me now take me down the right path, of endless glory that I will never give back. It is my time to shine and save all of mankind, you can just sit there and watch as I am about to blow your mind. This is what I want to be but will not, for I am only a shell that is less seen than the weighing moon covered by clouds on a lonely pitch black night. I think about what life is like with me in it not, will anyone know I'm gone or will they not care at all. I need to know before I go as I hang the rope with all the pain from being alone.
